The Drama and Performance Studies Honours programme delivers a focused curriculum that exposes students to diverse areas of specialisation. Through a service-learning ethos, the Applied Theatre module provides hands-on community experience, while the Directing and Acting and Dance modules empower students to choreograph, stage, and mount their own productions. Additionally, all students complete a Research Paper, gaining a deep understanding of research methodologies and academic writing to prepare them for future scholarly pursuits. Every year, three of the following five Honours coursework modules will be on offer, depending on staff availability and students’ interests:
DRAM714 Theatre for Debate (32C)
DRAM703 Directing and the Actor(32C)
DRAM704 Acting and the Director (32C)
DRAM708 Dance, History and Aesthetics (32C)
DRAM7RP Research Paper (32C)
