SUB – DISCIPLINES

  • Fine Art
  • Digital Art
  • Media and Cultural Studies
  • Art History

The Discipline of Cultural Studies, Media and Fine Art is grounded in rigorous theoretical, practice-based, and critical inquiry into visual culture, cultural studies, media, artistic practice, film, and digital media production. Bringing together Fine Art, Digital Art, Media and Cultural Studies, and Art Theory, the discipline foregrounds key debates in new media and cultural theory, critical media studies, art theory, and contemporary visual studies. Across undergraduate and postgraduate levels, the discipline cultivates advanced analytical skills, theoretical depth, and critical reflexivity, while supporting creative and practice-led research where appropriate
